Research and developmentIntermac invests a large proportion of its turnover in research. The Research and Development department, in fact, has always dedicated itself and its resources to the creating of new products and the perfecting of the existing. The final aim being that of providing updated solutions in line with the needs of the market. Research is considered as being a strategic element and one of maximum importance, to the extent that a new ad-hoc department, INNOVA, has been set up. The new department is responsible for design interaction with the product offices and the prototype departments of all the individual Intermac Glass & Stone Division brand names as well as those of the entire Biesse Group. In addition, INNOVA also looks after the experimentation, design and realisation of new components and the design of new machines. Today, Intermac has improved its capacity to respond to the needs of its clientele with an ability to foresee future requirements and come up with new solutions. Continuing research into standardisation has enabled the latest technologies to be applied to all products, guaranteeing quality, productivity and simplicity of use.
