Intermac subjects all its products to constant and continuous testing, which guarantees perfect compliance with the requirements and needs for operability, reliability and safety as dictated by the company’s clientele. In carrying out its function, the Intermac quality system utilises avant-garde techniques aimed at continuous improvement, in order to fully satisfy the customer’s needs through the use of high-tech tools that guarantee maximum reliability and precision.

Whoever chooses an Intermac machine is purchasing a product that has passed a high number of tests. During the assembly phase, quality checks are carried out on the products using evolved techniques. These checks, which number an average of 160 for each machine, are based on the feedback from the testing and assembly cycles. Each machine leaves the production line with a declaration of conformity certifying that the product has passed the tests laid down by the quality standards. The tests are carried out on all machines, work centres in particular are tested using sophisticated measuring techniques to guarantee the prefect compliance of the movements of the machine with the program. These techniques make use of equipment such as: interferometric lasers, three-dimensional measuring devices that detect the play and position in the “Ball-Bar” space, electronic equipment and numerous measuring instruments.

Finally, the Intermac quality system makes use of customer satisfaction surveys carried out on-site to gauge the level of satisfaction generated by the machines after their installation at the customer’ premises.
